The World Forum of Professionals in the Secular and Religious Media – Lebanon condemned the aggression against the “Future” television, and considered it an aggression against the media freedoms which is the basis of Lebanon. The statement included the following:
“The Forum condemns the aggression against the “Future” television because it affects the freedom of expression and opinion which is one of Lebanon’s components, and because it constitutes a threat to the entire mass medias whatever are their trends”.
“The Forum is afraid that this crime is a sign of sedition between the Lebanese, due to the way it happened and the crucial internal and regional circumstances”.
“The global popular condemnation of this crime asserts that the Lebanese agree on the fundamental role of mass medias whatever are their orientations, and the message they carry for the entire Arab World”.
